To paraphrase Dolly once again

“Here we go again…”

As I have said so many times before:

“Once the Fourth of July is over, it’s alldownhill to Labor Day and school starting up again.”Here comes September. Actually, a pretty quiet month, all things considered. Ya got Labor Day, of course, and Rosh Hashanah and Patriot Day (replacing Armistice Day, which nobody remembers anyway, since they’ve all forgotten about World War I–the “War to End All Wars”, which it obviously wasn’t), another Ember Day–two of them, whatever they are, Yom Kippur,.the Autumnal Equinox– official astronomiical/climatic/meteorological beginning of Autumn. Sukkoth, the fall harvest moon, days for St. Matthew, Str.Michael and St. Gregory the Illuminator.

Howdaya like that? Not a single mention of football season, Golf Season,Volleyball Season, Cross Country Season, Marching Band Season (Especially theMarching Pride), Quiz Bowl Season.Virtually nuffin! Right?

Well, we’re off to the races now Pumpkin Spice it is ! Not that I’ve ever tried it, but you get my drift, Right?

Onward and upward!!!
