Countryside Veterinary Services keeping you in good health?
Well, yes, but dogs and cats are getting even more premium care at the Garrettsville outpost since they have secured a full time veterinarian to offer complete ,non-surgical care at their facility. Dr. Lori Cavalcanti (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine)now joins Matilde, Ingrid, Deidra (vet techs), Cheryl and Alisha(client care specialists) and the inimitable Shelly (hospital manager) , as well as Dr. DeMaiolo, D.V.M. (on Fridays) to offer complete non-surgical care—including urinalysis, digital X-ray, bloodwork, pharmaceuticals, specialized food and LOVE across the board.
There are three exam rooms, scales to weigh the tiniest kitten–and floor models to deal with Great Danes or Irish Wolfhounds ( or just the overweight). There is an online presence and great continuity of care. Everyone there(resident cats & dogs included) is all about caring for this community which they love and serve.
One definite advantage is the proximity to the KSU Trumbull branch, which has an excellent veterinary technician training program. Another is the Countryside Veterinary Services network, which can expand animal care options to small animals–guinea pigs, hamsters, mice & rats, gerbils, etc.–and to large animal patients–cows(That’s you, Brownie), horses, goats, pigs, llamas, you-name-it, at their other Northeast Ohio facilities, such as Kinsman, Middlefield and Cortland; the record-keeping alone is aided by this networking, not to mention the breadth of expertise which can be called upon.
Having a full-time veterinarian at the Garrettsville installation is no small matter; veterinarians are fairly thin on the ground. The training is long and comprehensive…and expensive. Long-term and licensed staff make for more comprehensive and caring treatment of animal patients…and the people patients too(who often are not so patient)..
So, Brown Cow, send any of your cat & dog friends to the folks at the Garrettsville office of the Countryside Veterinary Services for top-notch care. And tell them to bring some of that chocolate milk of yours, Okay?
