In Memoriam: Diana L. Waldrop (Coffman) of Pembina, ND

Diana L. (Coffman) Waldrop, 50, of Pembina, ND passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier, ND. Diana Lynn Coffman was born May 20, 1964 in Cleveland, OH to Donald E. and Sandra L. (Hathaway) Coffman. She grew up in Hiram, OH, graduated from Crestwood HS in 1982. She worked at Parker-Hannifin and Eaton Corp. She married John McGhee of Chagrin Falls, OH and they had two children, Sara and Dillon. She Married Daniel Waldrop and moved to Pembina, ND, where she worked at Norman Jenson Brokerage. Survivors include her children: Sara and Dillon McGhee. Both of Pembina, ND; mother Sandy Coffman, Hiram, OH; siblings: Deb Coffman, Ravenna, OH – Don (Cyndi) Coffman, Northport, FL – Dan Coffman, Northfield, OH – Kathleen Miller, Cuyahoga Falls, OH – Sheryl (Joe) Dufey, Warren, OH – Jude (Curt) Thomas, Grand Junction, CO – Sue Holm, Marietta, GA; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald. Diana was able to give the gift of sight to someone, by donating her eyes upon her death. A memorial service will be held at Hiram Christian Church in the near future. A time of fellowship will follow at the church.

Jack Joins Garrettsville Police Department

Garrettsville - The Garrettsville Police Department is pleased to announce that our new K-9 team has been selected. Ptl. Keith Whan and his new partner Jack started training on March 16, 2015. They will graduate on April 24, 2015 as a certified K-9 team through the State of Ohio. They will be certified in utility and narcotics detection.
