Jeffrey “Jeff”  W. Gregg, 61, of Garrettsville, OH, went home to his Lord and Savior on Friday, August 28, 2026. He was born February 10, 1965, in Akron, OH, to William and Janet (nee Soltis) Gregg.

He was raised in Mantua, OH, and was graduate of Crestwood High School. Jeff went on to further his education as a precision machinist, and was proud to contribute to prestigious projects, such as creating parts for NASA. He worked faithfully for over 30 years at Swagelok, in Solon, OH, until retiring. Jeff met the love of his life, his entire world, Charlene, in passing, and their story created a loving family of three daughters. He was a lover of nature, especially when it came to fishing for rainbow trout. After fishing, Jeff would enjoy spending time in their cabin in PA. A knife afficionado, Jeff would go to any store, looking for a new knife to purchase; even during family vacations! He was a big guy with an even bigger heart, who could be one of the kids, no matter his age. Jeff was a faithful man who loved Jesus, attending bible study and a member of the Cornerstone Bible Church in Middlefield, OH. He will always be remembered for his light, his love, and the pride and joy he felt for his family, especially his grandchildren.

Jeff will forever be missed by his loving wife, Charlene Gregg, who was blessed to share over 40 wonderful years together; daughters, Larissa (Jay) Osborne, Tanya (Jon) Osborne, and Jessica (James) Dickey; son, Jeffrey Gregg; grandchildren, Kaelynn, Emilynn, Lucas, Lyndsey “Daisy”, Colton, and Quinn; mother, Janet Gregg; brothers, Scott (Diane) Gregg and Jason (Charlene) Gregg, many nieces and nephews, and his fur-babies, Jack, Jilly, and Georgie.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Gregg, and his brother, John Gregg.

A visitation was held on Friday, September 4, 2026, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., at Cornerstone Bible Church, 15029 Enterprise Way, Middlefield, OH 44062. A funeral service followed  at the church at 3:00 p.m., with Elder Doug Modic officiating. Jeff will then be taken to Park Cemetery in Garrettsville, OH, where he will be lovingly laid to rest. Care for Jeff was entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. For online condolences go to www.carlsonfuneralhomes.com.
