Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated.
I am getting care and support from all over–friends & neighbors, church folk, readers of my literary outputs in The Villager, relatives from afar (Some of them are pretty “far out” anyway),FB cruisers that have noted an upsurge in inquiries as to my well-being–heck, just about everybody in town…or out of it.
When I am able to detail all of this–hopefully, next time–I will attempt to chronicle the high points (There actually were some…aside from escaping from far more serious injury.).
One of the more interesting might be the appearance of our friendly local bat on–so far–two different evenings. Just checking to see if I was all right, I guess. Hard to impart that information while they’re in flight, so I hope that the little bugger will not make a return visit. Still would like to know where they come in ;that’s a search for another day.
Will keep you all posted after the big visit to a neurosurgery person to see when I can get back to living in as normal a style as possible
Thanks, everyone for all of the help. Keep those prayer chains rattling…sounds good to me.
