No fireworks, just ongoing work to be done at the Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary meeting on July 6, 2026…including
*Settling details for the 100th birthday celebration on July 26 at the South Street (Bill Phelps) Park. There will be kids’ activities, picnic foods, a visit by the Cowboy Creamery truck and Bill Starcher with his Climbable Creatures. All this from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Open to the public.
* Pix of the progress being made on the Storybook Walk
* District 630 Day at the Guardians game on August 19
* Information for sponsors of the Reverse Raffle in November is out and available. Sign-ups are open to all. See any member. Be a part of community support and engagement.
* The abutment mural is still a work in progress; Benjamin Moore Co. is consulting to solve current problems.
* Financials were reviewed. New thoughts on scholarship awards will be discussed next year before being designated.
* Jim Irwin brought in a historic Rotary document referencing the founding year of Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary–1926
***Happy Bucks came in for appreciation of a fine weekend, a fine vacay, three cows and a litter of piglets
