Judith “Judy” Eckman (Leiendecker), 85, of Windham, OH, passed away on October 21, 2025, at UH Geauga Medical Center.
She was born on October 30, 1939, at her family home on East Center Street in Windham, to the late Lloyd and Alice Leiendecker. Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Eckman, and her sister, Betty Cooper.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Williams; her sons, Lloyd Eckman and Lawrence (Dana) Eckman; sisters, Bonnie Furr and Carolyn Altieri; seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-great-great children, as well as many friends.
Judy was a devoted hairstylist for 60 years; known for her kindness, talent, and dedication to her community. She deeply loved Jesus, her hometown, and helping others. Above all, she was the driving force behind her family – a source of love, strength, and faith for all who knew her.
