Patricia A. “Patty” Yon, 43, of Kent, passed away Tuesday July 29, 2025 at the UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio. She was born January 15, 1982 in Green County, PA to David M. and Betty J. (Bella) Yon. Patty has lived in Kent the past 18 years and was formerly from Garrettsville, where she was a graduate from J.A. Garfield High School. She was a very proud homemaker taking care of her children.
Survivors include her parents David and Betty Yon, her husband Zelos L. Wright whom she married October 12, 2019, her children Hannah (Sammy), Mary (Isaiah), McKenzie, Melody, Shayne and seven other Children, her grandchildren Kaiden, Eric, Kaileena, Skyler and Maizy, who is on her way, her siblings Melody (Jerry), David (Sarah), Allen (Erica) Rachel and many other family members including nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Calling hours were held on Tuesday August 5, 2025 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday August 6, 2025 from 10:00 AM until time of the 11:00 AM funeral service at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel with Rev.
