Louis Koleszar, 97 years old, of Nelson Township, passed away peacefully from natural causes at home on Wednesday July 30, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born May 11, 1928, in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, to Helen Tokar, of Leisnring, Pennsylvania, and Lajos Koleszar of Kaponya, Hungary.
Louis retired from Plant 14, Packard Electric, as a Tool and Die Maker in 1990. He continued operating his family farm for the next 35 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 74 years, Frances Kapich Koleszar. Additional survivors include brother Joseph (Jackie) Virag, children: Mark, Louis, Francine, Ramona (Steve) Orihill, Sandra (Edward) Winters, and Michael, Yvonne, Glen, Eric (Tara), Ruben, and Jacob. He enjoyed spending time with his 18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Alex and Steve Koleszar, daughter Carolen, and sons Bruce and Todd.
