The June 16, 2025 meeting of the Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary dried off long enough to deal with the following business.
Visitor Ian Carmen told of his experience at the recent RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards)event held at Hiram College; definitely worthwhile. Local Rotary members got to participate in some of the activities. Possibility of website training as a group? Seeking some publicity –pix & story perhaps–for the support of HopeTownOhio; Villager and the Portager to be contacted. Contacting attendees at the recent community input event at The Mill –recruiting effort. Reverse Raffle meetings will be resuming on Wednesdays. Benches going to the Renaissance Center, possibly on July 23. Looking to host local students–Olivia Grcar (RYLA) and Owen Bass (exchange student in India) to tell of their experiences.
Happy Bucks came in for Father’s Day events–visits and all, a visit from a great grandson newly-arrived, RYLA experience, a return from Boys’ State, a Mom in rehab, a district governor nomination (!)
It’s all good.
