Catch A Flick Under The Stars

226

Mark your calendars now for the following films to be shown this season during outdoor movie nights at Observatory Park, a summer staple for many!

Finding Nemo (G) on Saturday, June 14

Men in Black (PG-13) on Saturday, July 26

All movies begin at dusk, and guests should plan to arrive around 6 p.m. with showtime at 7 p.m. – before dark this year thanks to a giant LED screen. Bring your blankets, chairs, snacks, water and bug spray to “make a night of it” as this park’s exceptionally dark night sky darkens into night!

Observatory Park is located at 10610 Clay Street in Montville Township. For updates before coming out, visit www.geaugaparkdistrict.org/activity/special-events-art-shows or call 440-286-9516. (Screenings move indoors in inclement weather and begin about an hour earlier.)

Did you know…? Geauga Park District’s Nights Out in the Parks series also includes live music on select Saturdays in the outdoor amphitheater behind Big Creek Park’s Donald W. Meyer Center: The New Barleycorn (contemporary folk and traditional Celtic) on June 21, Tom Todd’s Trip to Buffettville (Jimmy Buffett tribute) on July 19, and Big North Band (traditional country) on August 16, all from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Join us!

For more on Geauga Park District offerings, please call 440-286-9516 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. or visit Geauga Park District online via www.geaugaparkdistrict.org
