Nelson Twp. – D. J. Missions met August 2 with nine members present. In devotions the history of song “In My Heart There Rings a Melody” was given and then they sang it followed by shared blessings and prayer.
In business the group decided to send money to the Methodist disaster fund.
It was announced about our yearly assisting of our sister church in Windham with their project, called Soct-ober,s of collecting socks.
Another booklet for Washington Square Health Care Facility is being prepared.
The group then signed Thinking of You Cards and worked on cards that will be attached to prayer quilt squares. These quilt squares will go into a decorated can with other items that will be distributed at the end of October.
