Garrettsville – Geauga Vision recently announced that effective March 2, 2018, their Garrettsville location will be moving to the newly constructed Middlefield office. John Bruening, president of the Geauga Vision Group explained this decision: “The Garrettsville office has always been a great location for us, but due to the size of the office, we were unable to have an on-site lab, and were limited to the number of eye examinations we could schedule. The Middlefield office had similar issues, so we decided to do a complete rebuild of the former First Merit bank building. This allowed us to triple the size of the lab, add more doctor exam rooms (4), allow for more examinations, and in the near future, even allow for walk-in appointments. We also now have our own parking, which was an issue at both offices, as well as a curbside service feature for those who may not be as mobile as others.”

Bruening continued, “While we realize this will be an inconvenience for some patients, overall, it will allow for better service for both communities”

John went on to mention what a great optician Geauga Vision has in Mike Keas, and wanted to assure everyone that Mike is still with the company. “Mike has done a fantastic job in Middlefield, and has been promoted to manager and director of merchandising at our Ellet Eyecare location. That location, located at 512 Canton Rd., in Akron, is 28 miles away, and offers a larger selection of frames than the Garrettsville location could carry. Mike will be full time there, working Monday-Friday, 10-6. The phone number there is (330) 784-1155.”

Geauga Vision wanted to thank their many customers for their support, and let them know to watch their mail for a gift certificate which will be sent to all current customers. They look forward to serving you at either Ellet Eyecare, or Geauga Vision. For more information, call (440) 632-1695 (Middlefield), or (330) 784-1155 (Akron).
