Chardon To Host Love Fest
LOVE FEST is an annual open-air music festival that takes place on Chardon Square, located in Chardon, Ohio on June 25th from noon-12pm. LOVE FEST gives stage to the up-and-coming heroes of the next generation of music.
We embrace bands from as far way as Canada as well as from our backyard of NE Ohio. Our common ground is excellent music from a variety of genres fresh from the streets of your town, USA & Beyond.
LOVE FEST resembles the love of music, art, community and the earth we get to play on. LOVE FEST provides something for the whole family, including our Little Groover section. The Little Groover will be providing activities for the kids until 6pm as well as DR. U.R.Awesome Bubble show at 2pm.
Enjoy some great vendors, food trucks, tie dye activity, art gallery, Love Fest auction, yoga, and of course music all day. This year we have 20 bands of all genres ranging from Folk, Rock,Hip Hop, Reggae and much more. LOVE FEST is always free and open to the community.

Second Blessings Thrift Shop
Our furniture room is now stocked full of new donations of used furniture, lamps and occasionally antiques. From our two overflow rooms shoppers can fill one of our shopping carts for only $20.00. In the Second Blessings Thrift Shoppe we have many new household items and many items in like new condition, all reasonably priced. Shopping hours are Monday, Tuesday, Friday 10am-4pm and Thursday 12pm-4pm. We accept cash and checks. Stop in and shop! 9005 Wilverne Avenue in Windham. 330-326-3003.

Senior Center will be open for breakfast Monday mornings 7am to Noon. We will be COVID compliant, so PLEASE call 330-889-2733, as reservations are highly recommended. Parkman 55+ Seniors
First Thursday of Month
Please join area seniors over 55 for a monthly gathering on the first Thursday at the Parkman Community Center at 11:30 am. With the exception of an occasional field trip, the gathering includes a pot luck lunch and socializing and variuos programs such as entertainement, informational lectures and Bingo. Loaves and Fishes Community Meal

Free meal open to all residents in Mantua, Hiram, Garrettsville and surrounding areas. Anyone who needs to stretch their food dollars or even if you just love a homemade meal. You are cordially invited to come eat and enjoy some fellowship. This meal is from 5-6:30 pm, the LAST Thursday of each month at Mantua Center Christian Church. 4118 S.R.82. This runs January through October.

Feature Films At Observatory Park

Sunday Brunch: Mantua Center School, Sunday, June 26, from 12 noon to 2:00 pm. 11741 Mantua Center Rd. Come and visit with your neighbors over a Mexican themed meal – plus dessert. Dine in or carry out. All donations go to the Mantua Restoration Society, Inc. Brunches this summer will be held the last Sunday of June, July, and August.

Chardon Polka Band Worship, Concert, and Picnic Benefit

Come enjoy the Chardon Polka Band as they lead a polka-style worship service as only they can do at Celebration Lutheran Church, 10621 Auburn Road, Chardon on Sunday. June 26, 2022 beginning at 9:30 a.m. Following the worship service, the Chardon Polka Band will be in concert from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. During this time, a free picnic-style lunch will be provided by members of Celebration. Those attending are encouraged to bring children (there will be activities for them) and also to bring lawn chairs.
Donations will be accepted during the worship service and concert to benefit Keira, an eleven year old amputee from Aurora, Ohio. For additional information, please contact Paul at 440-897-0121.
