Trip To Showstopper Dance Championships Was An Exciting One

Garrettsville – In Sandusky, the weekend of March 31st, The 8th Count Dance Center competed against dozens of dance studios from around the state and area for prestigious top honors at Showstopper, the largest Dance Competition in the Country. Instructors: Shanelle Waggoner, Layla Jordan, Denise Hart, and Ash Olejnik are proud that their entries placed as follows:
‘’Batter Up’’ received 6th place overall in Junior Performance Duet/Trio, Miley Collopy received 9th place overall in Senior Advanced Solo, ‘’Don’t Fence Me In’’ received 6th place overall in Senior Advanced Duet/Trio, ‘’Eleanor Rigby’’ received 8th place overall in Senior Advanced Small, Becca Lawrence received 10th place overall in Senior Performance Solo, ‘’Fly on the Wall’’ received 4th place overall in Teen Performance Small, ‘’Going To Be Friends’’ received 8th place overall in Junior Performance Duet/Trio, ‘’Hallelujah’’ received 5th place overall in Senior Advanced Duet/Trio, ‘’Janet’’ received 2nd place overall in Senior Advanced Small, ‘’Little Red Riding Hood’’ received 3rd place overall in Teen Advanced Large, ‘’T8C Goosebumps’’ received 1st place overall in Teen Advanced Super, Elijah Voshel received 8th place overall in Senior Advanced Solo, ‘’Thing 1 and Thing 2’’ received 8th place overall in Junior Performance Duet/Trio, ‘’Viva La Vida’’ received 9th place overall in Teen Advanced Large, and The 8th Count Dance Center received 9 double platinum awards; 6 platinum awards; 7 gold awards; This qualifies them to go to the Showstopper National Finals in either Sandusky, Mashantucket, Myrtle Beach, Kissimmee, Anaheim, or Galveston this summer.
