Stanley “Bruce” Szabaga, 83, of Garrettsville, OH, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at the Lincoln House in Ravenna, OH. He was born on August 27, 1942, in Ravenna, OH.
Bruce had lived in Ravenna, OH, Freedom Twp., OH, and Garrettsville, OH throughout his life. He was a kind soul who loved everything Elvis! Bruce also loved the dogs he had in his lifetime: Trail, Corky, and Bandit.
He will be deeply missed by his brother, Thomas (Marlene) Szabaga; niece, Carrie (Jordan) Temkin; nephew, Matthew Szabaga; great nephew, Eddie Temkin; great niece, Cece Temkin, and sister-in-law, Mary Schwinn.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Regina Szabaga, and his brother, Leon Szabaga.
Family was joined for a visitation on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. After the visitation, a Mass of Christian Burial was performed at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 10692 Freedom St., Garrettsville, OH, at 11:00 a.m. Bruce was then taken to Park Cemetery, where he was lovingly laid to rest near his parents.
