The Ravenna Area Chamber of commerce is seeking nominations for the Honoray Way. Honorary Way is a means to publicly and temporarily honor distinguished citizens and good Samaritans for their achievements by ceremonially naming the street after them.
The Honorary Way bench and street sign can be found at the corner of S. Park Way and W. Main St. – at the entrance to Veterans Memorial Park, across from the Triangle building.
The name of the honoree will hang from a decorative post at the center of the flower bed. Bi-Annually the Ravenna Chamber’s selection committee will select a new honoree with approval from the Mayor.
Nomination deadline is April 12, 2021 and can be entered https://ravennaareachamber.com/honorary-way. The ceremony will take place on April 29, 2021 at 10:00am-11:00am (at corner of courthouse lawn).
