The Portage County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will meet on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the Portage County Historical Society, 6549 N. Chestnut St in Ravenna Ohio at 10:00 a.m.
The May meeting will be a “research day.” After the general meeting the members will be able to research the files at the Portage County Historical Society Library. The president will also have the scanner and computer displaying some of the early 1800 material that has been scanned from the Portage County records office. There will be no meetings in June, July or August.
