Nature’s Ornaments

1954

From evergreens to icicles, the beauty of the holiday season can be seen in Nature.

Try your hand at making your own unique ornaments from natural items by stopping into The West Woods Nature Center on Sunday, December 23, any time 2 to 4 p.m. during Nature Ornaments: Make It Yourself!
Registration is required ahead of time to join in on the fun at www.geaugaparkdistrict.org or 440-286-9516, but there’s no cost, and all ages are welcome to try making one or all of the ornaments available.

Some of the materials we’ll have available for you to use are milkweed pods, rose hips, pine cones and acorns. In the past, visitors have made ornaments that look like Rudolph, Santa, a wreath and an angel. Visit our social media for example photos.

Don’t delay signing up – more than half of the spaces are already taken!
The West Woods Nature Center is fully wheelchair/stroller accessible at 9465 Kinsman Road (Route 87) in Russell Township. Please call the number if you have any questions at all.
