Mantua – The ladies of the Mantua Village Garden Club have been busy cleaning up their adopted flower beds, and planting flowers.  The village flower beds that they maintain are:  Crestwood High School Sign, Buchert Park, Mayor’s Corner, Hillside Cemetery, and Canada Road Sign.

The June 3rd meeting will be at the home of Pearl Austin.  A light lunch will be served, followed by a short business meeting.  At this meeting Bob Stehli, of Wintergreen Farms, will be visiting to tell the club about his newly matured blueberry farm.  He will give details about growing blueberries and talk about why he picked his new location in Hiram.

Anyone interested is welcome to attend.  We welcome those who are interested in our speakers, as well as those who might want to join the club.  For more information please call Lea Lazar at 440-539-9307.
