Clear out your closet and help make prom dreams come true—donate new or gently-used formal dresses, then shop for free on Saturday, April 4 from 10am to 4pm.
Reed Memorial Library is coordinating a prom dress shop where teens can “shop” at no cost for prom dresses and accessories. Anyone may donate new or gently-used formal dresses and accessories at the library’s first-floor desk through April 3. Donations should be clean and in good condition. Many donations have come in and the library is expecting a wide variety of dresses to be available.
On Saturday, April 4th, 10am to 4pm, teens can come to the library and shop all the available dresses at no cost. Private dressing areas will be available to try on clothing and find the perfect fit. Teens do not have to donate in order to pick out a free dress and shopping is open to any local teen.
