Garrettsville – The McDonald’s restaurant at 8027 State Street in Garrettsville started a major remodel project this week to bring in new, modern convenience and comfort for customers.

Owner/operator Will Galloway, who purchased the restaurant in December of 2017, will add self-ordering kiosks and Table Service inside the dining room, and Mobile Order & Pay (with optional curbside service) and drive-thru digital menu boards outside.
“My family and I are proud to be neighbors in the Garrettsville community and bring the future of McDonald’s to this area,” Galloway said. “We’re building a better McDonald’s for Garrettsville, and we think folks here will be lovin’ the new conveniences that will be available to them.”

Galloway will plan a Grand Re-opening event to share the celebration with the public.
“We see this modernization as a long-term investment in this community,” said Galloway, whose organization helped sponsor Garrettsville’s SummerFest this year. “Our customers and our people are the lifeblood of our family’s business, and we’re excited about putting down strong roots here in Garrettsville.”

The drive-thru at the restaurant will remain open during construction. Weather permitting, the newly-modernized restaurant should reopen in early August.
