Birthday party prep was the business of the day for the July 13, 2026 meeting of the Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary. The festivities will be held on July 26 at the South Street (Bill Phelps) Park, featuring picnic fare, Bill Starcher and his “Climbable Creations”, the Cowboy Creamery truck and games. The public is invited from two to four. Also on the agenda was more info about the Storybook Trail–posts and Rotary labels, messages on the headers, contact through the library, etc
The paint issue with the abutment mural is being worked through, Edison Lighting has done maintenance on the creek lighting. Local RYLA participants will be asked to speak to the club. The Rotary night Guardians game reservations need to be in by July 31.
Happy Bucks highlighted a former exchange student on a camel, a trip to Florida, family event prep, class reunions, grandkids, and farming.
