Shannan Jursa State Farm was selected to help the National Fire Prevention Association and State Farm by providing community toolkits to support two local fire departments with fire safety educational materials. This year’s theme is “Serve Up Fire Safety in the Kitchen.” We are pleased to provide grant funding to supply volunteer and paid fire fighters with public safety education resources for Fire Prevention Week (Oct. 4 -10).
In August we delivered two fire prevention kits at a joined event to the Braceville and Windham Fire departments. The kits include magnets, stickers, posters, banners and educational activities for the fire department to use in their communities.
