Join us Sunday, April 26th from 1p.m.- 4p.m. at Eagle Creek State Nature Preserve in Portage County for a special opportunity to explore one of our most biologically diverse preserves as we continue to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the division.
Eagle Creek is renowned for its dazzling array of spring wildflowers and variety of natural habitats including mature forests, streams, wetlands, and meadows which support many different species of wildlife including sandhill cranes and river otters.
Staff will be available throughout the preserve at various locations to offer expert knowledge on wildflowers, bogs, vernal pools, stream life, and other areas of interest as you travel along the trail system at your own pace.
This event will be held rain or shine. Visitors are encouraged to dress for the weather and bring drinking water.
