Overeaters Anonymous (a community of people who support each other in order to recover from compulsive eating and food behaviors) meets in person every Monday, except legal holidays, at 10:00AM in the parlor of the First Presbyterian Church of Warren, 256 Mahoning Av NW, Warren, OH 44483. Farmington Senior Center Breakfasts

The Senior Center is open for breakfast Mondays from 7a-Noon. A full menu is offered from scrambled eggs to Belgian Waffles. Parkman 55+ Seniors
First Thursday of Month
Please join area seniors over 55 for a monthly gathering on the first Thursday at the Parkman Community Center at 11:30 am. With the exception of an occasional field trip, the gathering includes a pot luck lunch and socializing and various programs such as entertainment, informational lectures and Bingo. Hiram Community Band Is Rebuilding!

Hiram Community Band is rebuilding! Anyone who can play a band instrument and read music is welcome, though we’re in particular need of lower instruments. Rehearsals are Monday June 5, Wednesday, June 14, and Thursday June 29, from 7-9 PM, in Frohring Hall on the Hiram College campus, with our concert at “4 on the 4th” of July. Mantua Farmers Markets Plant & Misc Sale

Pre-Season Plant and Miscellaneous Sales will held at 10827 North Main Street, Mantua, on May 27, June 3 from 9 am to 1 pm. Regular Season runs from July 15 – September 23. Hours are 9 am to 1 pm. The Markets offer a variety of items – bakery, crafts, produce, syrup, plants, yard sale treasurers. Vendor fees of $5 per date will be used to support church projects. Join us as a vendor or buyer. Parkman 55+ Bus Trip

Parkman 55+ invites area adults to help pack the bus by joining us Thursday, July 6 to attend Sugarcreek’s Ohio Star Theater musical titled “Dear Soldier Boy”. The day trip includes motor coach transportation, musical and lunch at Dutch Valley Restaurant. The cost is $92 per person. We are gathering at 8:45am at the Parkman Community House and leaving at 9am. Call 330-326-3083 for reservations or further information. Deadline is May 26.
Mantua Garden Club Meeting

The Mantua Village Garden Club will meet on Thursday, June 1st, in the Christ Lutheran Church community room. The meeting begins at noon with a brown bag lunch (BYOBB) and a short business meeting. Free Clothing Give Away

St. Joseph Cares, an outreach ministry of St. Joseph Church (11045 St. Joseph Blvd., Mantua), will be holding a Free Clothing Giveaway for the greater Crestwood area on Saturday, June 3, from 9 a.m. to Noon. Free clothing is provided to families in need, The event is held in an upstairs classroom in the school building of St.Joseph Parish. You do not need to be a resident, there is no limit, and no questions are asked.
