Time for Tots held the 2nd Wednesday of each month (Sept 14, 2022 – May 10, 2023) from 10 – 11 a.m. at Maplewood Christian Church 7300 State Route 88 in Ravenna. Come experience a safe indoor environment where children ages 2 – 5 can play, craft, enjoy music and burn energy (adults stay for fun, siblings welcome). Parkman 55+ Seniors
First Thursday of Month
Please join area seniors over 55 for a monthly gathering on the first Thursday at the Parkman Community Center at 11:30 am. With the exception of an occasional field trip, the gathering includes a pot luck lunch and socializing and various programs such as entertainment, informational lectures and Bingo. Freedom Township Historical Society School Open To Public

The Freedom Township Historical Society’s school # 2 will be open to the public on the following two Saturdays: February 25 from 10 – 12 and March 25 also from 10 – 12. Then on Sunday March 5 we will be open from 1 – 3PM. The school is located at 7276 St Rt 303; please park on the graveled east side of the driveway. We are still working on developing the museum’s layout, but welcome residents during this time. If you have specific interests or questions, please call Judy at 330.527.7669 so she can have the appropriate information for you. We would love to hear your family’s story. In addition, we are looking for information on and especially pictures of any of Freedom’s 8 one room school houses. Did any of your ancestors attend one of these schools? Who were their teachers? Do you have any class pictures? We look forward to seeing you during one of our open times.

On Saturday, April 1, from 11-1pm The Fountain located at 12888 State Route 88, GARRETTSVILLE (North of Rt 305) will be having their EGG FEST!
THIS EVENT IS FREE FOR ALL AGES! There will be themed tables throughout – where your children of all ages walk around and receive Easter candy from each table. (It is like an inside ‘Trunk or Treat’ style day.) When you are finished walking around to the themed tables – each person will receive a hot bagged ”to go” lunch consisting of a hot dog, chips and drink.
This event has been proven to be lots of FUN for the entire family. Plan now to come!
