Eric David Faber, 51 years of age of Garrettsville, passed away Tuesday January 20, 2015 at his residence. Eric was born on November 20, 1963 in Carbondale, Illinois, the son of Robert J. and Dorothy E. (Armour) Faber. A resident of Garrettsville the past 18 years, Eric had been employed at Silver Creek Organic Farms in Hiram the past 20 years where he took great pride in working with the horticultural aspect of the operation.

Arthur “Bud” Whitney, 100, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015, one year to the day after his beloved wife of 74 years, Rose. He was born October 6, 1914 in Freedom Township to Harry and Gladys (Simpson) Whitney. He owned and operated the Western Auto General Store in Garrettsville, Ohio for 20 years. He enjoyed trips to the cabin in Canada and his Florida home. Arthur loved going on family picnics, hunting, fishing, golfing, going for lake trips and traveling the entire lower 48 with his wife, Rose.
