Maplewood Career Center Adult Eventing Classes Earn Your High School Diploma And A Workforce Skill

The Adult Workforce Diploma Program offers adults a chance to earn their high school diploma through the State of Ohio while attending Maplewood Career Center’s adult education evening programs. Learn a new skill and earn your diploma.

An adult 18 and over, without a high school diploma or GED, that lives in Ohio would choose one of the following programs: Medical Billing & Coding; Phlebotomy; Modular Welding; or Modular Industrial Maintenance Electrical. The adult would pass the Work Keys exam with a 12+ in: Applied math; graphic literacy; and workplace documents and work on the OhioMeansJobs – Work Readiness Seal in order to earn their high school diploma. The Adult Workforce Diploma Program is paid for by the State of Ohio and free to an adult. We also have the Aspire program that is free to adults offering remedial skill brush up in: Math, reading, and language for someone that has their high school diploma and also offers GED prep.
