This handsome old man showed up at a friend’s home. He is the sweetest guy and is definitely ready for some Loving. Kit Kat is about 10 years old and has been neutered and vaccinated. He did test positive for FIV (which is not a big deal). FIV is a cat specific virus, and you cannot catch it.
It is usually spread from one cat to another via a deep bite wound. Cats with FIV can and do live full lifespans. This is NOT the same as leukemia.
