Freedom Township Historical Society will be holding its first Open House of the season on Saturday, June 27 from 10 – 2 at our school museum, 7276 St Rt 303.  We have several new exhibits including two wedding dresses donated by Kathy Cain that were worn by her mother and her aunt.  Also we recently acquired artifacts from the Freedom Methodist Church that will be on display.  We will have additional dates (s) in July for other open houses.  Those will be shared when the dates and times are finalized.  John Kudley, director of the Aurora Historical Society, will share his power point presentation on the history of Geauga Lake Park on Tuesday July 14 at 7 PM at our school # 2, 7276 St Rt 303.  Our programs are free and open to the public.  Questions?  Call Judy at  330.527.7669 and leave a message.
