It’s time to clean out those closets, clear the attic, and turn unwanted items into cash as registration officially opens for the annual Garrettsville Area Community Yard Sales.
Set to take place May 15–17, this highly anticipated community event draws more than 150 participating households each year, creating a bustling, town-wide shopping experience for bargain hunters and treasure seekers alike. Residents can choose to participate for one, two, or all three days, making it easy to fit any schedule. If you live out or town or prefer to set-up in a group, Sky Lanes offers spaces in their parking lot allowing shoppers to view several sales in one location.
Registration is now underway and will remain open through May 8. The cost to participate is $20, which helps cover the printing of event maps and advertising efforts to attract shoppers from across the region.
Participants can register in person Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Villager (8088 Main Street, Garrettsville), clip the registration form on page 6, or conveniently online at the Garrettsville Area Chamber of Commerce website – https://garrettsville-area-chamber-of-commerce.square.site.
Each registered household will be included on the official event map, making it easy for visitors to navigate sales throughout the area.
Whether you’re looking to declutter or simply enjoy being part of one of Garrettsville’s most popular annual traditions, organizers encourage residents to sign up early and join in the fun.
For those ready to tidy up and cash in, now is the perfect time to start sorting, pricing, and preparing for a weekend of community connection and great deals.
