The Aspire GED Program at Maplewood Career Center has made attendance for adults matter.  Throughout the Spring months Portage County Literacy Coalitions is helping to make coming to the GED class much brighter.

Each time a GED student comes to one of our sites for our GED classes, the student is put into a monthly drawing to win a gift card!  The Aspire GED program has classes at Maplewood 5:30 to 7:30 PM and Opportunity Resource Center 9:30 – 11:30 AM (both Monday through Thursday).  Also, the Kent Free Library Monday and Wednesday 9:30 –11:30 AM.

Students are very excited to win $20 and/or $10 gift cards.  The cards can be used for gas or food, as that is helpful to our students.  If getting a GED is on your mind and your or you know someone call our main office at Maplewood Career Center and ask for ASPIRE, or call directly at (330) -235-0020.
