The March 23, 2026 meeting of the Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary delved into current projects and future enterprises, to wit ,
• More information on the Storybook Trail at the Tom Collins Walking Trail in the South Street (Bill Phelps) Park
• Review of the Grants Committee meeting–information available, firm deadlines, new opportunities re: disaster grants, requiring a designation by a governor
• SummerFest–who will be available, highlighting of the Life Saver
• River Edge Park ? Consultation with the council and planning commission, input from the Portage County Land Bank. Start date estimated (April 2027), cost estimates to be lined up.
• Community outreach/membership recruitment–”Everybody’s doin’ it.”
• Happy Bucks : discovery shopping trip, Addams Family production, little ones to care for, the RiverEdge Park Project,”just becuz “.x2.
