Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary Report

70

A vast array of topics arose at the March 9, 2026 meeting of the Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary Club, including :

*Review of the Rotary bike wash at the RoadApple Roubaix–well-receives and definitely welcome activity for local good wishes with the bikers

*The lockbox program is on track; more information soon for those wishing to participate.

*RYLA is coming to Hiram College. Local club will be assisting with several aspects of the program. There may be a local participant.

*No candidates for the Four Way Test competition have come forward.

*Thoughts on a Centennial Project have emerged from the Grant School info, a playground being chief among them. There is interest from the Little Tykes company. Is there interest from other local clubs and organizations? Lighting on the Tom Collins Trail is another possibility..\

The Reverse Raffle will be coming up. Early preparations are a plus.

*Ditto for SummerFest. Will G-H Rotary be in the parade? Will everybody (G-H members, families, interAct members?) ride the wagon? Tons of candy to throw, celebrating 100 years of Rotary here.

*The abutment mural awaits good weather.

* Program for April focusses on beautification.

*Another social event?

Happy Bucks came in marking the RoadApple Roubaix activity, a chili cook-off, drywall application, incipient bathroom work, signatures for a settlement, appreciation for helpers and projects.

It’s all good.
