The March 2, 2026 meeting of the Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary covered an array of current issues, including :
*Arrangements for the forthcoming Storybook Trail–posts are arriving, storage will be at the PCDL, some youth will be recruited to assist in the set-up, sponsorships are still open.
*District Conference is open for attendance, April 24-25. Will there be a local display/ presentation?
*RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) is coming to Hiram College. Are there local candidates? Will G-H Rotary be assisting? What about the picnic? Buses?
*The Portage County Land Bank has a new website.
*Grants meetings are coming up.
*Local Rotary scholarships will be awarded; deadlines coming quickly.
*The Road Apple Roubaix will be this Saturday; John Crawford will be overseeing the bike wash with help from theInterAct group. One fearless member will be riding.
Happy Bucks came in for a successful baby shower, a new apartment, warm weather, a Florida mini vacay, attendance at a musical starring a local talent.
It’s all good.
