Community Spirit Shines Bright at NGCC’s Thanksgiving Celebration

622

Once again, our incredible community came together in the true spirit of generosity and compassion to ensure that every neighbor had a reason to give thanks this season. The Nelson-Garrettsville Community Cupboard (NGCC) is filled with gratitude for the outpouring of support that made this year’s Thanksgiving meal distribution such a tremendous success.

Because of the collective kindness of our donors, volunteers, and local partners, families in need received rotisserie chickens, turkeys, and more than $200 worth of groceries and meal-prep items per household to enjoy with their loved ones. Volunteers worked tirelessly to gather, pack, deliver, and distribute food while also organizing the pantry for the busy holiday season ahead. Their dedication, teamwork, and selflessness are what make NGCC so special.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the following individuals, families, and organizations for their generous donations and food drives this past month:

Save A Lot, Ellerhorst/Russell Insurance, That’s the Spirit, Ace Hardware, Pride Auto Wash, Johnson Automotive, Daystar Ford, Mike’s Electric, 3D Electric, Bates Family, McBride Family, Garrettsville Eagles Club, Denise Ellerhorst, Jeff & Jackie Rinearson, Jason Young, Jeff Dewitt, Sarchione Chevrolet, The Barber of G’ville, Deluxe Cleaners, Hermann’s Pickles, Cal’s, Dick & Linda Fall, Much Love Tattoo, Linda Hoff, Garrettsville People Tree, Jason & Amy Young, Jackie Berecek, Tina & Scott Eisenmann, The Pesecky Family, Garrettsville United Methodist Church, St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Life Church, Terry Willis-Cumberledge, Kim Burrows, The Fresch Family, The Macek Family, The Drebus Family, The Kearney Family, Monroe’s Orchard, and the Garrettsville YMCA.

Along with the MANY anonymous donors whose generosity made a tremendous impact

Every contribution — large or small — made a meaningful difference. Together, you ensured that no table in our community went without a Thanksgiving meal and no family felt forgotten during the holiday season.

On behalf of the entire NGCC team, thank you for continuing to show what it means to be part of a caring, connected community. Your compassion, generosity, and commitment remind us just how strong our community truly is.

With heartfelt gratitude,

The Nelson-Garrettsville Community Cupboard
