Mantua Rotary Presents Another Merry Christmas Tree Silent Auction

733

Merchants, businesses, and Community Groups in the Mantua area have volunteered to decorate a three-foot tall table-top Christmas Tree for Rotary Club of Mantua’s silent auction.  Each tree of the 20 trees is unique, festive, and may reflect the business responsible for decorations.  Trees, to be displayed at Crooked River Flowers, Gifts, and More at 10676 Main Street in the Village of Mantua, will be on view from November 28 through December 14 and are available for purchase through a silent auction.  The highest bid made will take the tree home for Christmas 2025.

The Merry Christmas Tree Silent Auction occurs in conjunction with the many holiday activities planned for the Village of Mantua.  Small Business Saturday on November 28, Merry Evening in Mantua on December 4 when the shops remain open until 8:00 pm, a Farmers and Makers’ Market is scheduled, a cookie walk, caroling, and horse drawn wagon rides are featured.  Santa arrives by Fire Engine on Saturday December 13 from 2 to 4:00 in the Green Space in the Village on Main Street.  The Rotary Club of Mantua’s Christmas Tour of Homes on November 5,6,7 and 12,13,14, with four local houses to tour (and a fifth on Sundays only). Several local churches have volunteered to provide additional lunch opportunities on selected days, too. Mantua has many little shops to explore and places for food, too.

Proceeds from the sale of the Merry Christmas Trees will go to Rotary Club of Mantua to support their service projects, especially those that support the Crestwood Schools like the Crestwood Primary School Safety Town and a future project to create a reading trail at the Crestwood Elementary and Primary School.  For more information about the Rotary Club of Mantua or the Christmas Walk, check out the Rotary website at www.mantuarotary.org.
