Planning and reviews were the focus of the September 15, 2025 meeting of the Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary. The Reverse Raffle is coming up on November 5, 2025, so discussion touched on planning meetings, tickets and sponsors–onward and upward. Status of local businesses, especially on Main Street, was a topic of concern. The ongoing mural project came in for discussion, including prospective pix, costs, procedures & materials, a possible painter, location. Investigation of the possibility of an advanced playground, with further developments–possibly at the village park–has been on the table for some time.
Happy Bucks highlighted the travels of Natalie, an earlier exchange student, a son on a Homecoming Court, a last-minute shopping trip, a farewell to a son heading to Atlanta.
