Members of the Twentieth Century Club of Garrettsville gathered in the secluded Countryman estate for their annual Summer get together, preparing to launch the programs for the club year. Family dogs. Emma and Murphy, took up the duties of greeters as all arrived to enjoy the varied menu of light refreshment. Program booklets were passed out; there were additions and corrections, as well as an introduction to the themes presented. There was conversation regarding upcoming events; next year will mark one hundred twenty-five years from the founding of the group (1901). How will this be observed? Dues were collected.
Next meeting will be on September 18–Fall Get Together–Guest Night at the Gathering Place off State Street, 7:00 p.m.
