The 32nd Hiram School Reunion was held Sunday, July 20th at the Troy Community Center.
Forty-two classmates enjoyed an afternoon of visiting and a potluck meal. Maryan Simsa Jenkins organizes the event each year. Her daughters Mary, Sandy and step-daughter Lisa help cover the tables and serve food and do the clean afterwards. With new batteries the microphone worked and folks could hear Maryan read off the names of the classmates who passed away in 2024 and 2025. She had a moment of Silence for those who passed.
She gave a financial report and asked if they wanted to have a reunion in 2026 and they voted YES. So she will let us know when Jerry can reserve the Troy Community Center next year.
