The Senior Center is open for breakfast Mondays from 7a-Noon. A full menu is offered from scrambled eggs to Belgian waffles. A free meal is open to all residents in Mantua, Garrettsville, Hiram, and surrounding areas. Anyone who needs to stretch their food dollars, or enjoys a homemade meal, is invited. The meal is from 5-6:30pm, the last Thursday of the month, January through October, at Mantua Center Christian Church, 4118 State Route 82 in Mantua Township. Karly Alexandra Smith loves to help people who don’t think they can write find ways to find their voice in creative and beautiful ways! The workshops are limited to 25 participants. It will be held in the Garrettsville library meeting room but may require an adventure outside for inspiration! No previous experience necessary but come ready to learn and create!

The Newton Falls Area Commerce Association will be hosting a “Concert In The Park” on Saturday July 19, 5:30-7:30pm, with the local band “ONSET”. Will be held at the Gazebo by the Falls, and will be weather permitting.
Classic Car Show

10th annual classic car show held by the Hungarian Cultural Center of Northeastern Ohio 12027 Abbott Rd, Hiram. July 20th 2pm until 5pm (unless we run out of food before) Music by Aaron Dussing band. Special guest sponsor: Sarchione Chevrolet of Garrettsville. Admission at the gate is $6.00 per person, children under 12 free. Driver of classic car free. Freedom Township Community Picnic
July 20
Looking for good food, comradery, musical entertainment, and old-fashioned games. All this will be available for Freedom residents next Sunday, July 20 at the Freedom town pavilion starting at 12 PM. Fried chicken, burgers, hot dogs & table service will be provided. We ask that you bring a dish to share. Old-fashioned games will begin after our meal is finished. Historical society t-shirts and BICENTENNIAL calendars will be for sale and the Freedom barn picture display at the school will be open from 1-4 PM. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy a pleasant afternoon with friends and neighbors.
