Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary Report

1090

It was recap time at the June 30, 2025 meeting of the Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary, featuring review of projects undertaken during the year. These included the bridge mural, which is affected by adhesion issues but is guaranteed; work continues. Also in discussion are the plans for November’s Reverse Raffle, the RYLA program being more accessible since coming back to Hiram College, a review of club fiscal standing ( kudos to the Business Works for outstanding contributions) and membership rolls, possibility of starting an InterAct club at Windham HS and an online survey. There was some exploration of suggestions from the public garnered at the recent get-together, focusing on the possibility of some public presentations and fraud information. The lock boxes being looked into is an ongoing information opportunity. The Tom Collins Walking Trail and its continuing drainage issues came up, also lighting.

Happy Bucks were abundant, including a niece’s wedding, a son’s proposal, a sister’s visit,, a son in “the business”, 2 parent’s health, a basket raffle success,, good weather for SummerFest, the tractor parade, the new tattoo parlor, Just becuz.

It’s all good.
