Freedom Township Historical Society combined with Mantua Historical Society & Shalersville Historical Society is proud to present Susan Cannovino’s program entitled Eleanor Roosevelt: A Whole New Light.  This will be a 2 part series.  Part 1 on TUESDAY, MAY 13 focuses on her relationship with her parents, her unhappy childhood, her brilliant education, and relationship with Franklin. This informative & hilarious event will begin at 7 PM at the Shalersville Town Hall at the intersections of Rt 44 & Rt 303.  Part 2 on Tuesday June 10 focuses on Eleanor’s public and personal life as First Lady.  Her list of accomplishments is staggering!  You will see Eleanor in a whole new light.  Part 2 will also begin at 7 PM at the Shalersville Town Hall.

Our programs are free, open to the public, and handicap accessible with parking on the south side of the building.  Light refreshments will be provided.

You may remember the two previous programs presented by Susan Cannovino:  the first on President Eisenhower & last year’s on President Teddy Roosevelt & his daughter Alice.  We look forward to sharing this delightful evening with you.  Questions?  Call Judy at 330.527.7669 and leave a message.
