The Twentieth Century Club of Garrettsville celebrate the closing of the 2024-2025 club year with the traditional Spring Party in the Aerie 2705 dining area of the Garrettsville Eagles club. Following the appetizers arranged on the tables, the delicious meal was served buffet-style . Diners were seated at tables adorned with flowers primarily of the club colors–yellow & white. The lovely cake for dessert was also done in white with yellow roses.

Members were asked to complete questionnaires on their participation for the coming club year–programs, venues, etc. Anne Rubin was the winner of the contest on knowledge of club activities & history.

Installation of officers then took place: Connie Crate installed Sharon Miller, as president, Sharon Miller stalled Marlene Szabaga as vice president, Nasreen Kirko installed Anne Rubin as secretary, Carol Smith installed Connie Pesecky as treasurer. Installing officers lit candles and presented yellow roses to the incoming officers. Outgoing president Connie Crate presented remembrances to officers of the past year. Nasreen Kitko was honored for her enthusiastic participation in virtually all things of the Twentieth Century since her first days as a member. Brava !!!

The next meeting of the group will be the annual Summer Get Together, to be announced.

Since the group was started in 1901, it will be the anniversary of 125 (or 126 years, but who’s counting?) as an organization.
