The October 14, 2024 meeting of the Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary was short and sweet. Business covered included continued planning for the rapidly-approaching Reverse Raffle, including forms and assignments for sponsor recruitment, invitation lists and tickets–contacts are all! The next Rotary social at The Mill will be on October 29; invitation will be going out but are not required for attendance–It’s a get-together–y’all come–6 p.m. A speaker on suicide prevention is slated for December 9. The Dictionary Project for distribution to third graders will be back on the docket after the Reverse Raffle. Signs along the Tom Collins Rotary Memorial Trail will be picked up as soon as the weather dries a bit.
Happy Bucks came in for the approaching arrival of a great-grandchild, a son’s birthday dinner, communications,a new business venture and Windham’s 8-0 record…not to mention its fan base.
