James F. Molnar Sr., May 26, 1942 – September 14, 2024, Passed away unexpectedly.
Jim was born on May 26, 1942 in Warren, Ohio to his parents Steve and Edith (Dinko) Molnar. Jim was a lifetime resident of Windham, Ohio and a graduate of Windham High School. Jim enlisted in the U.S. Navy after high school and served his country. He was a long time member of Windham Bible Church where over the years, he served as an elder, youth leader and Sunday School teacher. He enjoyed being a magician, ventriloquist. He retired from Unimast in 1997 and was also a graduate of Moody Bible Institute. In his retired years he enjoyed cooking, canning, wood carving, watching M.A.S.H., the Browns, Ohio State & Indians games and loved his hot peppers; he passed away doing his favorite hobby that was golf. Most of all he loved the Lord and his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bob, sister Sandy Oesch and brothers-in-law John, Bill, Joe, Dave and Walter. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Mary, son Jim and daughter-in-law Jeanine, grandsons Jesse and Nathan, sister-in-laws Marge, Lou, Curly, Mary and Joyce, and brother-in-law Dave Oesch of Georgia and brother Dave Molnar of Florida, along with many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends for visitation at The Windham Bible Church, 9550 Windham Parkman Rd, Windham, OH 44288 on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 1 – 2 pm, immediately followed by a funeral service at 2 pm. Interment to follow at Windham Township Cemetery with full military honors presented by the U.S. Navy and the Mantua American Legion.
