Portage County residents are encouraged to nominate outstanding individuals, projects, and organizations for the 2024 Celebrate Portage! Awards. The awards recognize those who made significant contributions to the county in 2023.
Categories include:
Community Hero: This award honors individuals who selflessly serve their communities.
Community Service: This award recognizes programs or initiatives that bring people together for a common cause.
Community Improvement: This award honors projects that enhance Portage County’s identity, such as historical renovations or beautification efforts.
Employee of the Year: This award recognizes outstanding employees whose dedication benefits their employers and the community.
Youth Initiative: This award honors school or community organizations that develop innovative programs engaging with the community.
Health Initiative: This award recognizes programs that improve health and wellness opportunities for Portage County residents.
Winners and nominees will be honored at the Celebrate Portage! annual dinner. The nomination deadline is May 31st.
