Preparations for the highly anticipated Rotary Golf Outing at SugarBush on June 21 are in full swing, with meticulous attention to details such as catering, signage, and sponsorships. The event promises a fantastic opportunity for both golfers and sponsors to enjoy a good time while making valuable contributions to the community.

As the event approaches, the Rotary Club is actively recruiting golfers and sponsors to ensure a vibrant and engaging outing. The club is also looking forward to ordering new Rotary pins, flags, and other merchandise, partly to cater to exchange students – with two currently involved, one inbound and one outbound.

In addition to the golf outing, the Rotary Club is seeking families to host incoming exchange students, fostering a sense of community and adventure. Local students are also encouraged to join this enriching experience by expressing their interest in participating.

The ongoing mural project is gaining momentum, and the club is reaching out to potential muralists for collaboration. Input on the mural design is also welcome as the community works together to enhance its visual appeal.

Looking ahead to the RYLA event in June, the Rotary Club is eager to identify candidates who will represent the community with enthusiasm and leadership skills. This event serves as an opportunity for young individuals to develop their potential and contribute positively to society.

For those passionate about bowling, mark your calendars for April 13, when a bowling event for local InterAct students and district exchange students is set to take place. Additionally, on April 6, the district-wide 4-Way Test Speech competition is scheduled, showcasing the impressive oratory skills of participants.

During recent Rotary Club meetings, members shared their “Happy Bucks” moments, celebrating personal achievements such as a daughter’s success, the anticipation of a new grandson, the joy of homemade pierogies, the acquisition of a stylish new bowtie, and the arrival of Spring with its warm sunshine. Members are also looking forward to the upcoming “Beauty and the Beast” performance this weekend.
