Windham – Last fall, the entire community saw the sign, Mexican restaurant coming soon and it stirred up a buzz making folks anxious for its arrival in Windham. Finally, in February 2013 they opened their doors to the delight of the community. Tacos, burritos, tostadas, margaritas and more had everyone flocking there to experience a taste of Mexico. Folks came and commented on how good the food was and that it was great meal for a good price. Everyone seemed happy they were in town and thought they would be around for a while.DSCF3575Building owner James Moore stated that he was notified by Chips & Salsa management that they would be closing their doors permanently, implying that sluggish sales were the eatery’s demise. On June 29, 2013 Chips & Salsa closed their doors permanently and bade the village adios.
James Moore said the building is available for lease or purchase and is a turn-key operation with all health, fire, and safety permits valid and it is also current with all the codes required for a restaurant.  Moore has hopes that someone will make an investment in the community and consider this operation. So if you’re looking for a turn-key restaurant this could be the place for you. Any questions about leasing or purchasing the building can be directed to Jim Moore at (330) 326-3708.
